At Ranjini Eye Care 20 to 40% of patients (the deserving ones) are treated free of cost. The non paying section of the hospital has a waiting area and other facilities which are on par with that currently available. Deserving patients are treated totally free of cost, that including the cost of investigations, surgical procedures and medicines. In addition to Cochin Eye Foundation conducts regular screening camps where patients are screened free of cost and selected for further management at the base hospital. At present cost of conducting the camps and treating the patients is generated from the income of REC. In this regard, the Cochin Eye Foundation is truly and fully committed to providing excellent eye care to all.
